The exhibition “VISIO IMAGO MUNDI / ZIGMAN’S ART COLLECTION”, a remarkable project within the sphere of contemporary art that brings together three visual artists — Alice-Helen Zigman, Claudia-Laura Zigman, and Mihai Zigman, all members of the Union of Fine Artists of Romania. In this unique artistic collaboration, painting, graphic art, digital art, and decorative art become instruments in shaping a spectacular visual space — one where art transcends the boundaries of convention, opening new horizons of expression.

The works presented across nine exhibition halls captivate through their thematic diversity, varied techniques, and monumental dimensions. United by both vision and family bond, Mihai, Claudia, and Alice imprint the Zigman family signature upon the artistic landscape of Brașov — and beyond.

From large-scale works (up to 470 x 260 cm) to delicate miniatures, the exhibition invites viewers to a “face-to-face” encounter with the distinct creative voices of the three artists — an encounter with their world, your world, and the world around us.

Figurative and non-figurative, concrete and abstract, eternal and ephemeral, sacred and profane, realist and surrealist, classical and avant-garde — all coexist in compositions rich with meaning and symbolism. Portraits that reflect human typologies, genre compositions, forms and colors, emotions and sensations — together they shape the eternal “Imago Mundi”, the image of the world in all its diversity.

This national cultural event, hosted in Brașov, brings together over 150 works, creating an immersive visual experience that bridges styles, generations, and artistic philosophies. The exhibition can be visited at the Bank of Culture within the Apollonia Cultural Center, Brașov — 2nd floor, 22 Michael Weiss Street, open until December 18th.

Through this exhibition, art lovers are invited to experience a dialogue of generations and visions, to encounter the distinct creative identities of three artists united by passion, family, and the timeless pursuit of beauty.
